Final stage of post-production for Wang Zhi-Xiang‘s second short film There’s no Island in the Sea 原來海上沒有島. The film will also include a couple of animated segments that are currently being finalised.
Tổn Thất An and Wang Zhi Xiang have previously collaborated on Wang’s One Body, Two Sides 遙望彼岸 (2018), a short film which was the first of a diptych inspired by this little town in China where his grandmother lives and where he spent parts of his childhood. There’s no Island in the Sea is the second of the two.
The music has been completed last month.
