Noism0『Suspended Garden ー宙吊りの庭』the new collaboration between Japanese choreographer Jo Kanamori and Vietnamese composer Tôn Thất An had its premiere on December 13th to a raving audience. The piece was specially created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of dance company Noism, and had principal dancer Sawako Iseki-Kanamori reunite on stage with three of her dance partners: Aiichiro Miyagawa, Satoshi Nakagawa and Yuki Yamada. The four of them have performed and created three of the Kanamori/Tôn Thất works: NINA – materialize sacrifice (2005), PLAY 2 PLAY Interfering Dimension (2007) and Les Contes d’Hoffmann (2010), as well the revised versions of NINA – NINA ver. black (2007 & 2017) and PLAY 2 PLAY (2013).
Suspended Garden is the third and final piece of an evening entitled ENKAN, which opens with As Time goes by, another piece by Kanamori on John Adams’ The Chairman dances, followed by a ningenshikaku, a new work choreographed by Ryohei Kondo for Noism2.

Suspended Garden is composed of five movements:
