Solis Occasus, Wong Siu Yung‘s latest installment of his Mindfulness installation series, and final collaboration with Tôn Thất An is to take place for a limited run – only three days, at the Studio Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Center from August 26 to 28th.

Through sensory experiential installation and improvisatory dance performance, the programme provides the audience with two different ways to appreciate the artwork, allowing them to be immersed in a unique contemplative space where they can be inspired to understand their subconsciousness and reflect on themselves.
“Solis Occasus” is the latest work of Wong’s sensory experiential installation series, following “A Haven in a Wide Flower” in March last year. “Solis Occasus” merges scenography and lighting technology, transforming the theatre into a contemplation space. Audience members can choose to explore and browse the installation ground freely, or experience the artwork in the balcony area from another viewpoint. Through visual, auditory and even tactile senses, the artwork brings a new sensory experience to the audience, leading them to follow their hearts and to feel the moment of tranquillity.

面對夕陽，你們會想起什麼？夕陽無限好，但又近黃昏。幕幕安靜的片刻，往往帶來波濤洶湧的思緒。
以「夕陽」比喻「釋懷」，兩者瞬間變幻，難以捉緊，但也許某個短短的一刻，它會停留在你心並賦予意義。繼《一花一天堂》後，《幻夕記》是裝置藝術家王志勇最新的感官體驗裝置作品。靈感來自探討沉思空間，以藝術創作回應其靜觀研究。是次製作糅合了舞台藝術和燈光科技，創造了一個讓觀眾可安於覺知的空間，讓腦袋潛遊心流，在神馳之境放空。王志勇更邀請了舞者梁儉豐與曾景輝，為藝術裝置進行一系列即興舞蹈創作。二人從「動」、「觀」、「靜」三個意念出發，以身體表達對裝置的感受，給予觀眾另一角度重新認識自己的視覺、聽覺及觸覺。
