Tôn Thất An and Taiwanese dance star Sheu Fang-Yi collaborated in 2010 on a dance solo entitled Oneness, which the dancer performed in New York, Taipei and Macau.
Oneness is featured in its entirety in this documentary which retells the dancer’s life through re-creations and dance reinterpretation of her life and work. The rest of the score was composed by Lee Che-yi, under the supervision of Hou Hsiao Hsien‘s long-time collaborator Lim Giong.
