Trần Thanh Huy‘s debut feature Ròm was in the line-up of this year’s Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, Quebec. The 2020 edition however was held online, due to what-you-know. This was the first international festival (and North American premiere) after the Busan Film Festival and after the long months of pandemic and lockdown.

Ròm will also be screening at the (virtual) New York Asian Film Festival (August 28 – September 12).
For those living in the USA, screening time is on Sunday Sep 6, 9:00pm (EST) via the Smart Cinema USA app. (However, films will only be available for viewing on smartphones and/or tablets, NOT on laptops or computers).
