An Tôn-Thất has composed the score for One Body – Two Sides, a short film by young Taiwanese director Wang ZhiXiang. He may only be 21, but his film shows very promising qualities. There is a maturity and a visual sense which are striking. One Body – Two Sides is partly autobiographical and tells the story of a young Taiwanese boy whose parents have to send him to his grandmother in China, and who has to face the new changes and a not so friendly environment.
The film will hopefully start making its way to festivals soon.
First screening will be in Hsinchu on May 17th.
