My Father’s Truck (Chiếc xe tải của bố), Mauricio Osaki’s first feature film has been selected to have its world premiere at the 2022 Berlinale (Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin) in the ‘Generation’ section.
My Father’s Truck (Chiếc xe tải của bố) is based on Osaki’s 2013 short film of the same name, which was the first production between Brazil and Vietnam. The short film garnered the young director a Crystal Bear. Tôn Thất An was approached last year by Osaki to compose the music for the long feature, which will stars Trung Anh, reprising his role as the father. Shooting took place in the region of Hanoi.

The film is currently in postproduction.
