MOONLIGHT SHADOW ムーンライト・シャドウ will hit the theatres in South Korea on April 27th.
After Japan, Taiwan and Thailand, Edmund Yeo’s adaptation of the Banana Yoshimoto novella continues its journey.
“I’m particularly happy because if most of the films for which I composed the score have been to the Busan Festival, none of them to my knowledge have been released there theatrically. I would like to emphasise how much this film means to me in terms of Asian cinema, with Edmund Yeo a Malaysian director, a story, cast fnd crew from Japan (Banana Yoshimoto, Nana Komatsu, Hio Miyazawa and Himi Sato and producer Hiroto Ogi), cinematography and sound from Thailand (Kong Pahurak and Chalermrat Kaweewattana respectively), a Vietnamese composer (me) and Taiwanese musicians (Edric Chang, Lisa Liang and Emily Chang)!”

The film will be distributed in South Korea by 태양미디어그룹.
