Glorious Ashes World Premiere @ Tokyo Film Festival

Glorious Ashes / Trò tàn rực rỡ, Bùi Thạc Chuyên‘s new film since Adrift / Chơi vơi (2009) will have its world premiere at the upcoming 35th Tokyo International Film Festival. The film is based on two short stories by Nguyễn Ngọc Tư and and its cast includes Bảo Ngọc Doling, Phương Anh Đào and Lê Công Hoàng (Big Father, Small Fathers and other Stories, Goodbye Mother).
The film was produced by Vietnamese maverick producer Trần Thị Bích Ngọc.

Glorious Ashes has been selected for the official competition.
