Aaken has co-written, arranged and produced five of the eight tracks from Taiwanese singer Sam Liao‘s new album Forgotten West. The album has been released through Taiwanese indie label TCM. The songs are sung in Taiwanese language, which made it a challenge when ti came to the songwriting. The final result is a mixture Aaken’s blend of indie-pop and electronic, cinematic musical landscapes and Sam Liao’s poetic words and soulful melodies.
