“Somewhere Unknown in Indochina” goes to the Venice Film Festival

中南半島未知某處 Somewhere unknown in Indochina, the VR short film directed by Asio Liu Chihsiung and Tsou Feng Ting for which Tôn Thất An composed the music will be at the 81st Venice Film Festival in the “Venice Immersive” section. The film tells the story of the boat people who fled Vietnam after the Fall of Saigon in 1975, and who drifted north for a long time and ended up on the Penghu Island in Taiwan, when they thought they were sailing towards Malaysia.

This is a first time experience for Tôn Thất An to compose for a VR project. Music and sound mixing / editing are now completed. The film is ready for Venice!
