Tôn Thất An 尊室安 is currently composing the music for Be Water, a documentary by Bao Nguyen that focuses on the time when Bruce Lee came back to Hong Kong to star in the handful of films that will turn him into a legend, after his not so successful years in the U.S.
The film will include footages from all his film career – as a child actor in Hong Kong, his first roles in the US, his TV appearance as Kato in the Green Hornet to his big starring roles in The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, or Game of Death, back in Hong Kong. But the documentary will also show rare home videos and interviews.
Bao Nguyen went to the US and Hong Kong to interview people who have known Bruce Lee, including his wife and daughter, Linda and Shannon Lee, as well as his brother and a few of his co-stars.
尊室安 will be sharing music credits with American-Japanese composer Goh Nakamura.
Be Water should be completed by early 2020.
Stay tuned!
