Tôn Thất An has won a Golden Melody Award for ‘Best Arranger’ this year for the song Styx from Sam Liao‘s album Forgotten West at the Taiwan’s 30th GMA. The ceremony is followed in all the Chinese speaking countries in Asia – it is the equivalent of the American Grammy Awards.
Forgotten West was nominated in three other categories: Best Vocalist (in Taiwanese), Best Album (in Taiwanese), and Best Album. Sam Liao walked out with a Best Album in Taiwanese award.
